Description The Sardinian dwarf donkey is traditionally used for draught. It measures only 80-100 cm height at withers The coat is mousey grey and lighter around the eyes, muzzle and underparts. It has the typical eelstripe and shouldercross and also zebrastripes on the legs. Asino Sardo is frugal and agile. It has small, strong hoofs. Especially small Sardinian donkeys were sold abroad as a basis for breeding of „mini donkeys.
